Not much.
Got a new laptop after the one I had before went through its fifth repair. Almost got stuck with one that was worse (specs-wise) than my older one, but with a little arm-twisting at corporate (thanks to svxkitty) managed to get an even exchange. By the way, it's an HP DV9000.
Had a new job at a local coffee shop(along with bigwolfbebad), but lost it due to the boss 'not wanting friends to work together'. Good news: Said boss is getting fired.
It's becoming harder and harder to be here out on my own, in more ways than one.
Apologies for not keeping up with what all of you had to say for....I dunno how long. Maybe I'll actually keep up this time. |

All those new games, and hardly anyone to play them with, though. ;_;
But yeah, I'm still here. The long and short of things (in no particular order):
-Worked at the window place for about three months. It was kinda hot, and hardly anyone spoke English. Being on an assembly line full of slackers wasn't the greatest job, especially since their lack of work made everyone stay later (3:30p-2am D:) Boss didn't want me to go, since I actually worked, but I eventually left.
-Got an apartment, though one of our roomates has just recently left. I'll need to take pictures, especially the living room with the huuuuuge TV. We don't have a couch there anymore, though. My room's pretty sparse at the moment, need to get some actual furniture besides an airbed and some crates.
-Went to Furfright, which was full of Win and Awesome. Definitely going back next year.
- Got a new job at Target, where I currently work at the moment. Doing backroom work on overnights (10:30pm-7ish am). So far things are going good, though it doesn't seem like I'm doing as well as some of the others there. Hopefully I'll be able to keep it a bit longer...
-Now the proud owner of an X360 and a Wii. Gears of War and Zelda made me do it, respectively. :P My X360 gamertag is Odendo, and the Wii's number is 5451 2907 5151 9251.
-Got a 30GB iPod video for $110 from my supervisor at work. Kinda ripped him off, but he says he hardly uses it anyway.
-Yggdra Union is awesome, and every one of you should purchase it.

I was recently talking to someone about what I did in my spare time, and the subject of gaming came up. I
mentioned boardgaming, and the first thing that's said is, "You mean, like Monopoly/Clue/Parcheesi/etc?"
Oh, if only they knew!
And because of that, I was inspired to make this post as a means to enlighten those

The second Cleveland meet was a success! Once again it was myself, ragnar_wolfcoon and vhyena- along with a newcomer, Hyenagirl.
First, got picked up at around 11 and had breakfast at Ihop.
And yes, I would like pancakes with my syrup. :P
Went apartment-hunting afterward, and found a really nice 3-room place with a good price. Going to apply for it, though I don't know how far the commute to work would be from there.
After that it was off to the movies, where we passed the time awaiting Hyenagirl to arrive with random banter and For Sale. Of course, I got the 30. :P
We headed into the theater, and...
I've never actually seen a real F355 three-screen cabinet in person! It was soooo awesome, even if it was $1 a play. Then again, I guess that evens out to about 33 cents a screen.
The movie this week was Pirates 2- I found it enjoyable, though I totally wasn't expecting that ending. Can't really think of much else to say, I wouldn't make the greatest movie reviewer. :P Also: 20 oz. bottles of soda were $3.75.
Headed to Lazer Xtreme (It's like laser tag, but with more XTREEEEME) Haven't done this in a while, so I was a bit rusty. My first time there, though the setup was nice, a big multi-floored place with lots of spots to camp, which I did muchly. Here's the scores (My oh-so XTREME preset name was 'Scorpion):
Yeah, Blue got totally pwned.
Finally we all went to dinner at Applebee's. I'm still full off of those steak fuh-jytas.
Fun stuff..though I don't know how I'll attend next week, with work and all. :/ |

Well, my job starts next week! I'll be doing quality inspection of the production of windows, at a window-making company. So far it seems not too bad- just a bit of lifting here and there, but the place could use some serious air conditioning. I guess it's a minor setback, since it pays well!
Oh, and saw Casshern today. Came in expecting a fluffy action flick, but the story actually has some meat to it. It really didn't need to be that long, however... |

Friday- Went out to Red Lobster with ragnar_wolfcoon and vhyena. The 'Ultimate Feast' proved to be not so ultimate- it was rather small for the price, and was finished off rather quickly except for the time spent dealing crab legs massive damage. My first time having lobster before, however!
We then went to the movies to see My Super Ex-Girlfriend, which surprised me by actually being good, and also because I've never heard anything about it.
Saturday- Got back in touch with a local friend of mine, and played boardgames all night! :D Played Fjords, Tikal, Torres, Samurai, and YINSH. We would've played Descent if another person showed up, but alas...
Sunday- Nothing really interesting to mention here, well besides introducing my folks to the awesomeness that is For Sale.
Nothing interesting for today either besides jobhunting, and I've got an interview tomorrow! Here's hoping for the best! |

Well, that was a disappointment! Turns out the game night I tried to attend was a (very) shorthanded demonstration of titles that the store sells. : /
There's always Fridays at another place I know of, though...last week's was awesome.

Back home now.
The reunion thingy was pretty uneventful...just kinda sat around and said hi to people I hardly recognize. I'm sure it's fun for people you actually can share interests with, but I don't with any of my relatives. :/
Free wi-fi in the hotel was awesome though- the internets make (almost) everything better. Oh, and the food wasn't that bad, though I dunno who would get 800+ hamburgers and hotdogs, and forget ketchup.
I managed to get quite a few people there hooked on Coloretto, too. :P
